Director and Cast : The cast are comprised of a highly experienced group of Irish Actors all sourced through the Irish Equity Actors Council, who are a SIPTU based Union & have been protecting the rights of Actors & Artists for over fifty years. Although this play concentrates on those tragic first twelve days of May 1916, the core of this story is rooted in Connolly’s relationship with the true great loves of his life; his wife and his children. This drama reveals how James Connolly and his family suffer privation and bereavement but remain un-daunted and committed. This drama not only deals with the public persona of Connolly the man, it also examines his strongest allies behind the scenes, his wife Lilly and his daughter Nora, who is his most trusted lieutenant and the protagonist of the play.
